M0D44: workwear of the future
Throughout the difficult year of 2020, we watched how global brands were changing and, of course, we followed Ukrainian ones. Kyiv M0D44 caught our attention back in the winter with its bright collection M0D440003-FW (20). Despite all the turbulence of 2020, the guys are rocking — and they do it very qualitatively, coolly and really stylishly (we understand this a little bit too). Today we are happy to present M0D44 in our store.
M0D44 is a project by Anton Abo, co-founder and former art director of the Ukrainian brand Syndicate. It skillfully reflects the influence of Western and Eastern civilizations on local culture, rethinks the old postulates of the system of our ancestors, framing them in a defiant streetwear shell. The name — [m0d44] — encodes the word "module" (a reference to the brand's technical aesthetics) and the Kyiv telephone code 044. Organic cotton T-shirt
The brand's oversized t-shirts and sweatshirts will suit both boys and girls - all sets are universal, they are presented in a free size grid. A cool option would be to combine a bright top design with classic jeans and sneakers. Tie-dye, which is back in fashion, will paint your image in a new way - just like bleach draws unique patterns on things.

The buzz of young brands is ingenuity and new approaches. M0D44's signature is its unconventional approach to materials and fabrics: some of them are welded together like jeans, while others, like a puzzle, are woven from pieces of fabric of different colors, shades, and materials. This is the case when a brand really manages to come up with something new, not limited to just oversized. Moreover, the brand understands recycling in the broadest sense of the word — this applies to recycled fabrics, in particular, second-hand workwear, and visual design created from random pictures, fonts, symbols, and other elements from the world wide web. It's nice when there are really cool things behind the concept.
